Since investing in the club 12 months ago you we have moved on somewhat. We are now a rapidly expanding Club with over 50 members and three teams. 20 of which have been selected for the ‘Nationals‘ competition in April and more than ten of which have been earmarked to be selected for further international honours in the forthcoming European Championships 2012.
We wish to continue this success and in order to do so we need support!
What can we do for your company?
In return for your support we feel we can offer the following benefits:
Both national and international exposure through the media.
The opportunity to support one of the top National Touch clubs in the country.
Exposure to wide and diverse population
Branding on club merchandise
Branding and links on the club website
Promotion through the clubs monthly newsletter which has a circulation to over 1,000 readers.
Promotion through the clubs social media and television appearances
How can I help?
In sponsoring the club you will be supporting a sport that is:

How much will this cost?
The club is a non-profit making organisation you can be involved for as little or as much as you like! Below we have a rough guide as to the donation we require for certain branding but feel free to pick up the phone and give us a call and we are happy to help!
In the absence of any formal training sessions, we’re planning to have a Sunday morning run out 11am at Longford Park, a mix of games, fitness and drills.
These sessions are open to all Touch players (not just Chargers) and would be a good way to develop your knowledge and fitness in the build up to the regional’s.
#Please note#
The informal sessions are not compulsory for selection to the Regional Squad but would be beneficial if you are able to attend. If there are any persons who you know that would like to be considered for regional selection then please forward this info onto them.
There are a great many reasons why anyone should play Touch, but especially women and girls.
See the video below promoting a women’s Touch league in Australia where Touch is a sport with one of the highest participation rates amongst children and adults.
As the video above shows, the main reasons why women should play can be broken down as:
It’s fun
It’s a good work-out
It’s great for your legs and bum
It’s good socially
You meet new mates
It’s better than Netball (!)
Many of the Touch skills are transferable from other sports, such as netball, rugby, football, basketball and athletics.
Catching and passing effectively are essential to netball
Running quickly for short and long distances, sometimes over prolonged periods is related to many athletic disciplines such as sprinting or cross country
Basketball players will be able to relate to running up and down in attack and defence at high speed whilst handling the ball
Football and rugby players will recognise defensive strategies, communication, as well as dynamic movements such as dodging, cutting down space and support play
There’s plenty of way how too: Take a look at the below links and get in Touch!
