We are excited to once again host the cities mixed Touch rugby leagues.
Last summer was a write off in terms of sport, but 2019 was a great year of Touch Rugby in Manchester, with over 40 teams competing and we’d love for YOU to be a part of our latest leagues in 2021 - we've got some time to make up!
Whether it’s about rediscovering sport or honing your fitness, Touch (Rugby) is a fun and friendly environment for both men and women and juniors of all abilities to get involved.
BURNAGE - SUMMER LEAGUE
Date: Wednesday 5th May - 7th July. (10 weeks) Entry Fee: £350 (less than £3 per player, per week for a team of 12). A deposit of £100 is required to guarantee your teams place. Venue: Burnage RFC (Varley Park, Battersea Rd, Stockport SK4 3EA) Divisions: Mixed Teams Game Times: 19:00, 19:40, 20:20. Each team will play refereed, scheduled games against teams in their division each week, plus possible friendlies which can be organised on the night.
A three weeks break, before the late-summer league.
MANCHESTER MAYHEM - LATE SUMMER LEAGUE
Date: Wednesday 4th August - 1st September. (Five weeks) Entry Fee: £150 (just £2.50 per player, per week for a team of 10) A deposit of £100 is required to guarantee your teams place. Venue: Burnage RFC (Varley Park, Battersea Rd, Stockport SK4 3EA) Divisions: Mixed Teams Game Times: 19:00, 19:40, 20:20. Each team will play refereed, scheduled games against teams in their division each week, plus possible friendlies which can be organised on the night.
TRAFFORD MV - SUMMER LEAGUE
Date: Monday 3rd May - 5th July (10 weeks) Entry Fee: £300 (less than £3 per player, per week for a team of 12) A deposit of £100 is required to guarantee your teams place. Venue: Trafford MV (Finny Bank Rd, Sale M33 6LR) Divisions: Mixed Teams Game Times: 19:00 and 19:45. Each team will play refereed, scheduled games against teams in their division each week, plus possible friendlies which can be organised on the night.
JUNIOR LEAGUE - SUMMER LEAGUE
Date: Wednesday 5th May - 9th June (6 weeks) Entry Fee: £150 (~£2 per player, per week for a team of 12)
A deposit of £100 is required to guarantee your teams place. Venue: Burnage RFC (Varley Park, Battersea Rd, Stockport SK4 3EA)
Divisions: Mixed Teams Game Times: 18:00 and 18:30. Each team will play refereed, scheduled games against teams in their division each week, plus possible friendlies which can be organised on the night.
We have limited spots available for teams this season so would advise you to get entered as soon as you are able to.
