It’s that time again where the ‘off season’ starts...
haha, what off season! 🏉
Last year’s Development series was a resounding success, in developing players, refs and clubs ahead of the 2019 England Touch national series, and a perfect way to bring competitive and social players together to play.
Around 50 players have been selected in the England Touch High Performance pathways following The Nationals, and what better way to ride that wave, than to continue to build on it!
Going from weekly local training, to travelling 100's of miles to play in two day tournaments is a big ask to those new to any sport, hence a more regional approach fills this void.

Several of our players are new to the game and this has been the ideal vehicle to give them game time without the added pressures of a results orientated competition. It's back!
We are again running the successful series, aimed at further developing North West based Touch clubs and players.
This series will be played over 6 rounds at Burnage Rugby Club, on their 3G pitches, with a maximum of 8 teams at each round, prioritised on previous attendance and performance.
The tournaments are notionally planned to play with a 3:3 mixed split, but teams with fewer female players can compete with penalty scores against i.e. 4M/2F.
