The winter weather held out once again, as six North West teams headed to Burnage RFC for round 2 of the Development Series.
A very warm welcome to Warrington Knights, who took part for the first time. Some excellent flowing skills and ability from the debutants.
The round robin format, saw all teams play each other over the afternoon, with some great and unexpected results across the board. Last years winners, Blaze drew 1-1 in the first game against OSJ, and 6-6 when the met Knights.
Always great to have more juniors playing in the series. Bainbridge and Thorpe both joined the Turbo Chargers, both showing great potential, enthusiasm and progression over the day. There was also plenty of youth in the Blaze, OSJ and Anvils teams too. This series is perfect for all ages, to develop in a friendly and accommodating environment, with excellent feedback from the parents involved.

Cup Final
Under floodlights, it was another Chargers final, showing both the strength and depth in the club. Turbos took an early lead, with Supers scoring straight back and then began an onslaught of more scores, turning the tables on the pool results, and taking the win, with a 7-3 scoreline.
